This is a prime location for the trekkers after Dudhsagar waterfalls. To reach the waterfall, the trek takes around 90 minutes from the temple. It is a steep ascent amidst the jungle, it is suggested to take a local guide along to get a better understanding of the place better. Your route to the waterfall is quite interesting. The forest is full of reptiles, you may find a snake or two on your way and some other small animals. It is home to a variety of birds, enjoy the chirping of birds and a glimpse of the colorful birds.
Trekking to the falls

Tambdi Surla is 56 km from Madgaon city. It takes around 1 and a half hour to reach by crossing Ponda city. It is around 69 km from Panjim. You have to take a full day in hand to enjoy Tambdi Surla trekking and the Mahadev temple tour.
Tambdi Surla Temple
Located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir wildlife sanctuary, Tambdi Surla is one of the most magnificent places of Goa. This 13th century Shiva temple is considered to be the oldest temple of Goa.
